Very refreshing show
At first I was not sure where the show was going and not sure what the show was about. but at the end I felt I really connected with the host and agree with many of her views. I liked the comments and ideas on inclusion and will be listen to more shows in the future.

How wonderful!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to this podcast tonight. I lived for a time in the south and never felt like I fit. I’m looking forward to so much more in the future.

Fantastic idea for a show
As a Southerner who now lives outside the south, the premise of this show really interested me. After listening to the first two episodes, I’ll be listening to more! Great job - keep up the great work!

Such great book recommendations
I have always enjoyed reading. Lately I focus more on educational and non-fiction books. But I need to relax and enjoy some of the recommendations made by this Southern Belle. Thank you

Humanity and kindness
I just listened to the episode “It’s Tough Out There” and was immediately struck by the kindness and honesty that Rebecca projected all throughout the episode. Her warmth in a time when empathy seems to be lacking is something that I really admire and appreciate.

Belonging in the South should be on TV
I really mean it. Belonging in the South is beautifully produced. Rebecca Lauderdale presents in a thoughtful, professional manner. As a former Southerner “misfit”, I salute you.

Sweet show
Never thought people from the south had any challenges with community building. This podcast has been enlightening

Southern diversity
I am so excited a Southerner has the platform to illustrate that “the South” is not a monolithic place.

What a Delight
As a Southerner ready to see change from within, I am so excited to have this podcast come into the scene. I hope people in all regions will listen and come to understand more about who we are and that many Southerners are changing the conversation and the way we live in the South.

Belonging >Fitting In
This is a great podcast promoting diverse perspectives of a common theme: Love and acceptance.

Relatable, warm, and touching a spot that’s often overlooked
This podcast is something I’ve longed to see, a place where people from the south can see the many intersections that have both made their lives harder and more beautiful. I am excited for future episodes.
