Welcome to episode 1! I'm Rebecca Lauderdale, and my mission with this podcast is to help southerners of all types find belonging and community without having to change who they truly are. This first episode, I want to talk to you about why this is so important to me - and how I might be able to help you - people who live in the American South now or who used to live here but moved away yet still find your experiences here affecting you in some way.
